ENCAUSTIC WAX ART WORK

 

The technique of Art is also known as hot wax painting and has been around since 100 - 300 AD and has been used by the Eygptians.

 

It involves using heated bees wax which turns into a liquid/paste when heated, this is applied onto a surface eg card by an iron and heat sytlists.

 

The iron produces a varitiry of artistic patterns which can be abstract or it can be used for complicated patterns, each piece is unique
